Kibbutz Eilot – the southernmost kibbutz in the world is located right at the entrance to the city of Eilat, Facing enchanting views of the Red Sea Gulf and the Edom Mountains. Capot Tmarim offers delicious homemade cuisine, infused with local dishes, rich flavors and a relaxed atmosphere.
Our restaurant, which also serves as the kibbutz’s dining room, has long since been recognized by residents and tourists from Israel and abroad visiting Eilat’s sunny seaside resort and the Arava region who come here to indulge in the delicious food and enjoy the kibbutz experience.
Our restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and our famous Friday buffet dinner. On Fridays you are welcome to enjoy our ready-cooked homemade food catering.
Capot Tmarim also provides catering services for private events and more.

Our Story
The restaurant was established in 1985. As the kibbutz developed and new members joined, a dining room was built to cater for Eilot’s community and the guests staying in the kibbutz vacation apartments. Inspired by the kibbutz palm groves, the dining room was eventually named ‘Capot Tmarim’ (Palm Trees).
Over time, the restaurant became kosher, expanded its range of meals and began to host visitors from across the world, and at the same time, began to hold private and business catering events on the kibbutz and externally.
